The World Association for Christian Communication (WACC) in partnership with Women’s Media Watch (WMW) will hold a 3-day training workshop on gender and media advocacy from 10 to 12 April, 2008, in Kingston, Jamaica.
We encourage female journalists and media organisations to participate in 'Women Make the News 2008'. The campaign is organised by UNESCO to mark this year's International Women's Day, 8 March, 2008.
What are the most common forms of gender stereotyping in the media and how do we recognize them? This is just one of the issues and themes that will be covered in the public debate 'Women in media: gender stereotypes and discrimination.' The debate will be held on 6 December at 18.00 at Mediacentar Sarajevo.
